Introducing Canva Craft

Canva has launched Craft, its first image generation model, trained from scratch by its Canva Research lab and built for design. It works in two stages: it first plans the composition (elements, placement, hierarchy, text), then renders the image at up to 2K, in more than 30 aspect ratios or a custom one. It writes text in 55 languages and its images can be turned into editable layers with Magic Layers. Craft is available to all Canva users in Dream Lab and to developers through Canva's public API; access through the Canva MCP server is announced, along with faster versions (Craft-fast, Craft-ultrafast).
