How we pick
Our method: criteria, verdicts, updates and independence rules.
Few picks, strong opinions
Each 'Best for…' page ranks 3 to 7 tools, never a catalog. A page is only published if we can justify at least 3 picks.
The #1 pick gets the 'Good pick' badge: it is our default recommendation for most people.
Our criteria
Results for the specific use case, ease of use, pricing and free plan availability, quality in English and French, product maturity and data privacy.
Each verdict is 2 or 3 sentences: who it's for, why, and the main limit. We always state a limit.
Sources and testing
Verdicts are based on official documentation and product use. We are rolling out a hands-on test of every pick; each page shows its last-reviewed date.
We never publish unsourced numbers and never invent reviews or ratings.
Updates
AI tools change weekly. Every page is reviewed regularly, and the 'New this week' feed is approved by a human before publishing.
Independence
Rankings and verdicts are not for sale. Paid placements are shown separately and labelled 'Sponsored'. We list tools with no affiliate program when they are the best: the verdict comes before the commission.
