We're adding support for MCP Tasks and Elicitations in Claude

Anthropic adds support for two MCP protocol features to Claude. Tasks let Claude hand a plugin a long-running job, such as deep research, which reports back when it is done. Elicitations let a plugin ask the user for input mid-task, for example to confirm a refund. It is available now in the Claude Code CLI and is coming to more Claude products soon.
