Introducing GPT-6.1 Terra

OpenAI has released GPT-6.1 Terra, the successor to GPT-5.6 Terra, built to be fast and cheap on everyday office work: operating apps (computer use), reading images and technical drawings, and writing. OpenAI says it is much better at coding and makes far fewer factual errors than the previous version; for the hardest coding work it still recommends GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Astra. It is available now to Plus, Pro, Enterprise and Edu users in ChatGPT Work and Codex, and in the API as gpt-6.1-terra at $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens (50% less than GPT-5.6 Terra and GPT-6.1 Sol).
